What the service does

Social Video Downloader lets you fetch publicly available videos from TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook by pasting a link. Files pass through our server to your browser and are not stored by us.

Acceptable use

• Download only videos you own, that are free to reuse, or where the creator permits downloading.
• Do not use this service to infringe copyrights or violate any platform's terms of service.
• Do not abuse the service: automated scraping, bypassing the rate limits, or attacking the server will get your access blocked.

Fair-use limits

To keep the service fast for everyone, each visitor is limited to a reasonable number of lookups and downloads per hour, videos are limited to 30 minutes in length, and files are limited to 500 MB. We may adjust these limits at any time.

No warranties

The service is provided "as is". Video platforms change their systems frequently, so some links (especially YouTube) may fail from time to time. We do not guarantee availability, quality, or fitness for any purpose.

Liability

You are responsible for how you use downloaded content. We are not liable for copyright claims arising from your downloads. See our DMCA page for how rights holders can request action.
